About Orlistat
Why am I not losing weight?My name is Kate i'm 21, I weigh 102kg/15st 11lbs, i'm 5ft 2", my BMI is 40.2, I am morbidly obese, I do not suffer from PCOS, thyroid issues, or any other illness which affects weight loss, I have been exercising for nearly 2 years, 50 minutes to 100 minutes a day, doing cardio dance, leg lifts, star jumps, toe touches, whilst wearing weights which put an extra stone of weight on my body, and my calorie intake doesn't exceed 1500 a day. My question is simply why have I not even lost a lb of weight when i'm putting in so much effort. Before anyone says see your doctor I have multiple times, I've had blood tests done, I was on orlistat to stop my body absorbing fat for 3 months, I have been on every weight loss program out there, and my surgery won't put me on the list for a gastric band despite my exceeding NHS criteria because their criteria is 10 higher. Regarding what I eat I conform to the NHS eat well plate, my diet consists daily of 1/3 fruit and veg, 1/3 carbohydrates, and the last 1/3 is divided equally between, proteins, dairy, fats, and sugar. I do not eat foods which exceed 5g of fat [low fat] or 3g Sugar [low sugar]. My portion sizes per meal are never more than a small plates worth. An example of a typical day for me is 1 piece of toast or a yoghurt and a banana for breakfast, soup for dinner, or a small bowl of pasta in a tomato based sauce, a stir fry with a low calorie fry spray using low fat meats like turkey, or a rice dish with chopped vegetables and quorn mince in a reduced salt vegetable boullion stock.

Hi everyone I am taking Orlistat tablets for weight loss and today instead of the usual orange coloured oil I get in my stools it was green! This has never happened before I am a bit worried. Can anyone tell me why? Please help Thanks :)
