About Perricone Diet

what do you think of my diet? i've lost tens of pounds while on it?
this is my old diet.... i've lost a lot of weight while on it (tens of pounds) but i got off it and went on medication and gained 30 lbs. on meds.... i've since stopped taking medication and need to update my diet.... i know it's a lot so how to get some stuff out and simplify it.... or should i not.... i've lost a lot of weight on this diet and want your opinion (here is my diet): Breakfast: Salmon cakes with egg white omelet with sautéed tomatoes, fresh avocado, fresh spinach, and whole grain toast with olive oil berry smoothie with pomegranate juice, acai powder, goji berries, oranges, and green tea Snack: Green Smoothie with spirulina, chlorella, pineapple, apple, mango, kiwi, banana Or Green juice with kale and greens Lunch: Turkey and swiss with red onion, lettuce, tomatoes on whole grain bread, soup with beans and mushrooms Tuna sandwich, soup Snack: Yogurt parfait with seeds (chia seeds, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds), nuts, dried fruit Dinner: Grilled chicken salad Tuna nicoise salad cod fish salad Grilled steak with asparagus in vinaigrette and arugala Asian chicken salad Beef salad with onions and oranges Snack: Raw cacao smoothie with raw cacao powder, raw cacao nibs, frozen banana, coconut oil, flax seeds it's a combination of the perricone diet, the low carb diet, the three hour diet, the flat belly diet, and the raw food diet..... that's why i think it works..... i've had great results on it - i compiled it myself. thanks by the way.... the diet requires that i drink green tea between every meal - that's what gets rid of water weight and burns metabolism - but is too much green tea? mranonymous... it took me close to two or three months to lose two or three sizes.... and i saw results right away.... likewise i also was on an exercise program called "the firm" (an exercise on video they sell online and instores) that works both cardio and strength training at the same time - it's called circuit training - and that also helped.... the firm gave me optimum results in such a limited tim - like they sayproven visible results within three to four workouts - which i've experienced - the firm is to ladies as what p90x should be for men.... both intense workouts that give intense visible results within limited amount of time.... which is great for motivation the combination made me lose "fat" and gain muscle - plus all the protein i ate to help build muscle.... this diet is also a variation of the "perricone diet" (dr perricone the famous skin doctor) and it did wonders for my complexion and made me look years younger as dr perrico fountain of youth...... thanks........ sounds great...... part of my diet compiles ideologies from the raw food diet..... mostly plants, greens, vegetables, seeds, fruits, etc. i juice a lot and love green smoothies - i've heard that greens are the superfood of the vegetables because they have more nutrient density than any other fruit or vegetable - so for me.... super greens like kale, collard greens, swiss chard, etc. mixed with a little celery and apple in a juicer is like a drink for the gods...... ever hear of dan mcdonald on youtube..... he has some great stuff on eating raw and the raw lifestyle...... anyway..... like your diet and hope it works for you and others who try it..... here's a green juice recipe you might like: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1QvCamJBNYc here's a link to dan the man mcdonald - also known as "theliferegenerator" and his raw lifestyle: http://www.youtube.com/user/liferegenerator#p/u/18/vlMpZu1OaS0 oh yeah.... and wheat grass and barley grass juice works wonders - i had to buy a hand turning juicer for them (cause regular juicers destroy the enzymes but it's worth it).... just another good idea. oh yeah.... and you're "supposed" to have "cheat days"..... this lets your body know it's not starving because as the body lowers the calories in the body on a consistent basis the body thinks it is starting to go into starvation mode..... when one starts to eat higher calories during the weekend the body is tricked into thinking there is not a famine and instead of shutting down fat loss..... it actually starts it and you burn more calories and more fat..... you can read about the process here: http://www.livestrong.com/article/282152?
